The Beginning

It al started out when I went to a local dealership in search for an Eclipse. Honda users will think im mad but the time was spring of 2003 Right after I graduated HS. I had spotted 3 eclipses that previous week. An Rs that was burnt orange, A black one that was a GS-T and a red one that i think was a GS. The 2 maunal eclipses were sold when I showed up so i test drove the black one that was a 98 GS-T. The car was not really as quick and i had heard there was a common problem called crank walk.. i most def could feel that.. At the time me and my freind were in the car and the salesman stayed behind. We took the car to where a couple more freinds worked.. they liked it but i still wasnt sold on it. It was an Auto and i wanted a manual. So i then took the car back and told the guy that Na im not interested in an automatic, he tryed to tell me automatics are more popular so its harder to find a manual.. which i knew was BS but i told him i dont care a manual is what i want.. so he got a sheet of cars that the dealerships that were associated with this one (same owner). I looked down and i finnaly saw 97 Civic Coupe Dx M... so i asked him does this mean manual .. he dint know.. so i asked where the car was.. he said it was in bloomington which was about an hour away.. i was like oh ok. he told me that he would have the car brought here so i can see it.. So i had him do that , he told me to come back later and it would be there. After i left the dealer ship to go home i decided to go over to Honda. I still regret this today but There was a nice 2000 Acura Integra LS. It was white, Flawless, they watned 11,500 for it.. and at the time it was out of my price range but.. it probably would have been the better choice. so i decided not to. Had i known then what i know today i would have gotten it because my grandmother bought a car from honda and they were really really nice people. The place I went to was not.. They were sharks.. Never again will I buy a used car from a BMW dealership. Anyway, later on that day i got a call to check out the car. I drove up and saw it.. It was a Black 97 DX with Si wheels. It had Altezza taillights and tinted rear windows. At the time those were 2 of the mods i wanted to do and they were already done for me... Dumb idea... any ways. Here we are 5 years later. And finally the car looks somewhat Id like it to look besides the wheels which i got off my sisters car. I needed tires and she had brand new tires and wasnt using them due to her faulty transmission. However ive fogotten some important history of the car. turning back time back to 2003. The car was painted... my sisters boy freind offerd to paint it. It started out with the fenders we needed to fix. It turned in to him adding a blue pearl over the black and me wanting him to do the whole car.. Unfortunatly he dint do a good job... Months later he offerd to do it again. i told him white... it was much better but it wasnt the best. The car was white for a while when i spun a bearing in the d16y7. A the time me and my dad had no honda experence working on motors so we had no choice we decided to get a new motor. At that point i decided and he started getting in to hondas also. He and i decided to drop a b16 in it.e
